The Appeals Committee of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has granted the Phar Rangers’ motion to stay the execution.
Phar Rangers re-filed for stay of enforcement after the Disciplinary Committee dismissed its original motion pending the outcome of their appeal.
By a 4-1 majority vote, the Appeals Committee stated that it believes that if enforcement is not suspended and Phar Rangers wins its appeal, the appeal would lapse.
The committee stated that it would rule on the matter on the matter shortly.
Earlier this month, the team in the Division One League was suspended from GFA for five years due to the withdrawal from all competitions.
The committee also banned the club’s shareholders and directors from all activity for a period of five years.
