Liverpool are interested in West Ham United’s Jarrod Bowen, according to James Pearce The athlete. The 24-year-old striker is apparently on the Merseysiders shortlist to reinforce their attack lines.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is an admirer of Bowen who is spot on in terms of the type of players the Reds tend to look for – talented and relatively young with potential for further development. The versatile attacker, who can play anywhere on the front lines, scored eight goals and provided five assists in the Premier League last season after playing for the Hammers in all 38 English top division games. Bowen is considered a player who can initially offer the more established Liverpool stars a backup option.
However, a possible move for his services will depend on whether Liverpool can switch to either Xherdan Shaqiri or Divock Origi. They are open to offers to both, but currently only Lazios interest in Shaqiri is registered on that front. The Swiss international is estimated at £ 13 million.
