Ibrahima Konate showed his fighting spirit after the Liverpool friendlies on Wednesday night.
The Reds played two mini-games each against Wacker Innsbruck and Stuttgart, with newcomer Konate making his debut in the second.
The 22-year-old closed his £ 34.4 million from RB Leipzig at the beginning of the summer and was eager to get started in the preseason.

But on his non-competitive debut, he and his teammates only managed a 1-1 draw.
And although everyone knew that preparation was only a matter of minutes, Konate could not hide his competitive spirit and expressed his disappointment that he and his teammates could not take the win.
“It’s an unforgettable moment for me,” he told Liverpool’s official website. “Yes, without our fans – but I’m very, very happy. Just a little sad – very sad – because we didn’t win. But it’s okay, I’m happy, ”added Konate.
“I was very happy with the team on the pitch; good communication with everyone.
“We are getting better step by step, this is the first time in the preparation for the season. We’re waiting for the next game. “
