Referee Patience Madu leaves for the Tokyo Olympics

Nigeria’s FIFA referee Patience Ndidi Madu left Lagos on the night of July 13, 2021 with the Lufthansa flight via Frankfurt on the second leg of her trip to Tokyo Japan for the Olympic Games, which are scheduled for next week July to August 2021.
She had been flown from Enugu to Lagos last night by Air Peace airline to join this flight to Tokyo to join her colleagues from other confederations for the Games, the two sets of women referees and two for the men referees and two men include for the VAR to represent CAF at the games tournament.
Referee Patience Ndidi Madu had passed two COVID-19 tests organized by the FIFA designated Medical Center in Port Harcourt prior to her departure for the Olympics, and had also passed all physical fitness tests prior to the Olympics, which were held on Wednesday, the 09 football association in Abuja on behalf of FIFA.
