Tottenham continue their preparations for the new season tonight with their second friendly in the second division at Colchester United.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s first game as Spurs boss was a 1-1 draw at Leyton Orient on Saturday, despite only having a handful of first-team players to choose from.
However, the Portuguese was able to name a stronger team for the game here, with Oliver Skipp and Heung Min Son both returning while Japhet Tanganga sits on the bench.
Alfie Whiteman replaces Joe Hart in goal, while Tobi Omole joins Eric Dier, Cameron Carter-Vickers and Maksim Paskotski in defense.
Santo was able to pick an exciting back four as Son is assisted in the attack by Dele Alli, Steven Bergwijn and Lucas Moura, all of whom keep their places from the Orient, meaning Dane Scarlett is on the bench with either Son or Lucas taking the lead Line.
