Everton have reportedly made a point of signing Villarreal striker Samuel Chukwueze during this summer’s transfer window.
The 22-year-old scored five goals in all competitions at club level and provided eight assists 40 times.
According to The Athletic, Everton is overseeing the Nigerian international previously linked to both Manchester United and Liverpool.
The report claims that Everton boss Rafael Benitez is an avid admirer of the attacker as his current contract with the Yellow Submarine expires in less than two years.
Chukwueze has contributed 17 goals and 17 assists in 119 games for Villarreal since his debut in 2018.
