AC Milan reportedly want to sign Spanish midfielder Luis Alberto from Lazio and send Portuguese striker Rafael Leao in the other direction.
The 28-year-old has signed his intention to leave I Biancocelesti while I Rossoneri is looking for an attacking midfielder following Hakan Calhanoglu’s move to Inter.
Il Messaggero reports that Lazio president Claudio Lotito does not want to sell Luis Alberto unless he receives an offer of more than 45 million euros.
Although AC Milan have offered a swap for Leao, Aquile’s sporting director would prefer a swap with Rossoneri winger Alexis Saelemaekers plus an additional 25 million euros instead.
Maurizio Sarri, the new Lazio coach, has held talks with Luis Alberto in hopes that he can convince the Spaniard to stay at Le Aquile and make the attacking midfielder a focus of his project.
