According to Fabrizio Romano, it is possible that Harry Winks will leave Tottenham for Everton this summer.
Winks started both prep games under Nuno Espirito Santo but fell out of favor under Jose Mourinho and started in just nine Premier League games throughout last season.
The midfielder has made more than 150 appearances since joining the first team but his place seems at risk, especially as youngster Oliver Skipp is now expected to be part of the squad for next season after an excellent loan from Norwich.
Football Insider previously reported that sporting director Fabio Paratici was ready to listen to offers and would sell winks for less than £ 30million.
Southampton has also been tracking the 25-year-old’s progress, but Romano announced on his Twitch account that a move to Goodison Park could happen.
“It is an opportunity for Everton that we will see in the next few days,” said the Italian journalist.
Given that Skipp’s return will reduce Winks’ chances even further, signing Everton would be a good move for the midfielder while raising funds for Tottenham at the same time.
