Diogo Dalot seems a good fit at Man United as an offensive alternative to Aaron Wan-Bissaka as a right-back, but it’s clear Solskjaer doesn’t like him and a summer exit is the most likely outcome.
He was impressive on loan with AC Milan last season, playing in 21 Serie A games and Milan won the Champions League next year, but it was difficult to reach an agreement to bring him back.
Calciomercato has reported Milan’s interest and it appears that another offer is expected next week.
It appears Milan are hoping to bring him back with a permanent loan option but United have made it clear what their demands are.
They want a loan fee of around 4 million euros and then there would also be an obligation in the summer of 2022 to make it permanent, so it would in fact be a permanent exit if that happened.
It is also suggested that United is in no rush to let him go and they will happily keep him if those demands are not met. So it will be interesting to see what happens to it next week.
