Emerson makes debut, Tobi Omole in roster: Confirmed Spurs line-up against Crystal Palace

Tottenham’s starting line-up for today’s Premier League meeting with Crystal Palace has been confirmed.

The headlines concern Emerson Royal, who will make his debut after joining on the deadline. With his admission, Japhet Tanganga changes to the central defender to partner Eric Dier.

Harry Winks is a surprise starter in midfield. Oliver Skipp had doubted, so it had been suggested that Winks would fill in for Skipp – but both players are actually on the team.

That’s because Dele Alli was pushed into the top three with Lucas Moura and Harry Kane. Son Heung-min and Steven Bergwijn are both missing from the squad.

Hugo Lloris, Sergio Reguilon and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg are also in the starting line-up, while Joe Rodon and Tanguy Ndombele could make their first appearances of the season from the bench.

Young defender Tobi Omole also has a place among the substitutes. Spurs are obviously running out in the center-back as Davinson Sanchez and Cristian Romero are currently training in Croatia with Giovani Lo Celso.
