Ghanaian midfielder Alhassan Wakaso could miss his team Olympiacos Nicosia derby game against Apoel Nicosia on Monday.
Wakaso joined the first division Olympiakos Nicosia on a free transfer after parting with Portuguese Vitoria Guimaraes.
The former Black Stars player signed a one-year deal the day before the summer transfer window closed.
Footballghana.com understands that Wakaso will not be available for selection because he is not ready yet.
Alhassan spent four years in Guimaraes but had little joy because of injuries. The 29-year-old spent a total of 592 days on the sidelines between 2017 and 2020.
