Jose Mourinho turned back the years with a legendary run on the sideline after Stephan El Shaarawy scored a late winning goal for AS Roma against Sassuolo.
Mourinho led his 1000th management game tonight, with the two teams 1-1 in added time.
Although the game was played at the Stadio Olimpico, it was Sassuolo who looked like the more dangerous team for most of the competition.
However, former AC Milan striker Stephan El Shaarawy provided a brilliant moment to definitely turn the tide in AS Roma.
And look at Mourinho …

It may be a blessing to no longer manage Mourinho in the Premier League. He can now become the favorite of a neutral team instead of the manager of a rival team.
At Chelsea he was hated by everyone, at Manchester United he was hated by Chelsea and at Tottenham, well, Tottenham is just hated anyway.
As the coach of AS Roma, he has taken on a challenge where he can really prove that he still has something to offer the dubious world of football.
While today’s game was ultimately won by El Shaarawy’s right shoe, it was brought onto the field by Mourinho, who celebrates his 1,000th game with a win.
