Manchester United captain Harry Maguire is reportedly up for a new contract at the club after rising to become one of the club’s key figures.
The 28-year-old, who is currently out due to injury, has had the past 18 months mightily behind him after helping the Red Devils finish second last season before starring for his country at Euro 2020, with England reached the finals.
The former Leicester City man originally put his name on the map after a breakout tournament at the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
That hefty price tag has seen the Englishman come under closer scrutiny at times, but he appears to be thriving as the main character of the squad after transferring captaincy in less than six months of his time at the club following the departure of Ashley Young in January 2020 .

The report suggests that the Red Devils are interested in entering into negotiations for a contract extension even though he still has three years left on his existing contract.
