AC Milan are ready to lure again Andrea Belotti next summer to the Stadio San Siro, after the two previous attempts at the Turin Forward.
Il Gallo’s contract with Toro expires at the end of the 2021/22 season and the Rossoneri have been interested in his services for a number of years.
As described by Tuttosport, Milan’s first attempt to sign Belotti came in 2017 when the club went on a shopping spree. However, they were then turned down by Toro’s request for a $ 100 million fee.
However, they returned in January 2021 when they were looking for a replacement option for Zlatan Ibrahimovic. As Turin was involved in a relegation battle in Seire A, Granata refused again to open discussions. Milan then decided to sign Mario Mandzukic on a free transfer.
From January 1st, Belotti will be available to talk to any club before making a free transfer next summer, unless he renews his contact at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino before the turn of the year.
