Steve Bruce approaches the St. James exit

Corresponding Sky Sports, Amanda Staveley represents Steve Bruce and the Newcastle United players on Monday.

The 60-year-old has been reported to be sacked as the Magpies manager this week ahead of the upcoming Tottenham Hotspur game on Sunday.

The British businesswoman had planned a meeting with the English boss last Friday £300 million takeover of the club by the Saudi Arabia-backed consortium.

However, due to the international break training schedule, she was unable to meet the manager and players of the Tyneside club.

The 48-year-old is believed to be in northeast England after spending her weekend in London.

The Magpies are currently looking for a new manager who can turn them into title challengers.

They have been linked to several names lately, including Steven Gerrard, Antonio Conte, and Graham Potter.

However, while the club is still looking for the right candidate, coach Graeme Jones is expected to take over the team for the upcoming home game against Spurs.

Newcastle United got off to a terrible start to the season and is currently in the relegation zone.

They haven’t recorded a single league win so far, losing to West Ham, Aston Villa, Manchester United and Wolves.

However, things are expected to improve when they bring in some world class players in the January transfer window as they now have the richest owners in the Premier League.
