W.it Newcastle United The Tyneside club, which will shock the transfer market in the years to come, have a multitude of Series A Stars starting their Saudi revolution.
The magpies were recently acquired by Saudi Arabia’s public investment fund who have assets of more than 350 billion euros and Newcastle are willing to give away some of that money as they reinvent their roster.
An amount of 250 million euros is all the Magpies can spend keeping them from breaking the Premier League financial rules, but it is widely expected to be Newcastle will be able to flash the money in a similar way as Manchester City or Paris Saint-Germain.
According to Tuttosport, Newcastle have their sights set on goals in Italy, with Serie A being seen as a particularly convenient place to do business as the top Italian teams do not have the resources to compete with the richest teams in Europe at the moment.
Aaron Ramsey is a player who has been linked to Newcastle, and Juventus would be in favor of letting the Welshman go in January for a small fee, as he had come to Turin three years ago on a free transfer. In addition, the Bianconeri would save seven million euros on his salary.
Juventus couple Federico Chiesa and Matthijs de Ligt are also high on Newcastle’s wish list, but the Bianconeri are far less inclined to let the two young stars leave the Allianz Stadium.
Over in Milan Newcastle also observe the contractual situation of Franck Kessie at AC Milan. The Ivorian left the contract in June 2022 and has yet to agree on a new deal.
Meanwhile, Inter defender Stefan from Vrij and midfielder Marcelo Brozovic both are also touted as potential targets for Newcastle.
