Liverpool are back in the rumor mill this week, with two names that were like this before: one a year-long saga and the other a more recent claim.
One from Italy, one from Spain
First new? All right: Franck Kessie again.
The AC Milan midfielder will be out of contract next summer and the Reds are increasingly associated with him in the European press. Mundo Deportivo said we have been really interested in it lately and now Gazzetta dello Sport says that if we give him the £ 160,000 a week he wants, we will have a free run because Milan won’t.
Another destination of the free transfer is a much longer link: Ousmane Dembele.
He is injured again at Barcelona and the club will apparently not play against him unless he signs a new contract – and while Klopp is an admirer, Mundo Deportivo says Michael Edwards is already setting up a financial plan to sign the next France international summer .
Hold your horses back, however, as this rumor circulates in English outlet reviews (not even great ones) quoting their Spanish counterparts … on and on. Don’t hold your breath.
