Mike Maignan’s recent injury has left AC Milan struggling for a solution and the Rossoneri could turn to Antonio Mirante for a free transfer.
Milan already have Ciprian Tatarusanu at the club as a replacement for Maignan but they are believed to be preparing an offer for the former Roma and Bologna goalkeeper.
TuttoMercatoWeb is among Italian media outlets suggesting contact has already been made between Milan and Mirante, with the goalkeeper currently without a club since leaving Roma in the summer.
Maignan is expected to miss out on some of Milan’s next games. According to some reports, it could be out for up to a month.
