Bayern defender Lucas Hernandez has been sentenced to six months in prison for violating an injunction.
Hernandez was convicted of domestic violence against his wife in 2017, now the Munich defense lawyer has been sentenced to six months in prison for disregarding the injunction. According to a court document released today, the Frenchman had been denied an appeal against a previous suspended sentence for violating the injunction by the criminal court in Madrid.
The 25-year-old has to appear in court in Madrid on October 19, from where he has 10 days to go to prison voluntarily.
Hernandez was arrested in June 2017 for defying the injunction after landing in Madrid with his wife after their marriage and honeymoon.
Lucas Hernández has been summoned by a Madrid court and will be taken to a prison of his choice, according to AS.
