Spanish giant Atletico Madrid have reportedly made an advance on Chelsea in the race for a talented striker.
The Blues brought in Romelu Lukaku this summer for a club record of £ 97.5 million. He started his second term at the club in an exciting way, scoring a goal against Arsenal and Aston Villa.
Lukaku’s form has since been questioned from former Chelsea coach Antonio Conte. The Belgian was held in check by Tottenham, Man City and Southampton recently.
Despite the large new signing, Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia is already thinking about how she can secure the club’s future in the long term.
This search for the next child prodigy led her to Mohamed-Ali Cho of Angers. The 17-year-old has already represented the French U21s three times.
Cho can either act as a center forward or a second forward. So far this season he has scored goals against Rennes and Metz in Ligue 1.
Reports on October 2 showed that Chelsea have explored the starlet several times. “Glowing Reviews” seem to have returned every time.
The blues are not alone in their admiration for Cho, however. French outlet Le10Sport write that the reigning La Liga champions Atletico Madrid are also interested.
You acted by making the first formal approach for him. The report does not reveal how Angers reacted.
It is claimed that they will have to sell at some point in the near future to make up for the books. That opens up the possibility of a big move to Chelsea or Atletico next summer.
Granovskaia will have to act quickly if she is to help Chelsea win the race for Cho’s service.

Barca have three Chelsea stars in their sights
Barcelona need to focus on free transfers to improve Ronald Koeman’s options.
People like Sergio Aguero, Memphis Depay, and Eric Garcia all arrived for free in the summer window.
The President of Blaugrana, Joan Laporta, has now drawn up a shortlist of potential new signings for 2022. Mundo Deportivo write that he is monitoring Antonio Rüdiger, Cesar Azpilicueta and Andreas Christensen.
All three defense attorneys have recently entered the final 12 months of their contracts. Talks with Christensen continue while Chelsea are still hoping to tie up Rüdiger.
Azpilicueta, meanwhile, is expected to continue its longstanding partnership with the Champions League title.
