Pandit believes Everton makes “sense” to “desperate” Man Utd star

Former Premier League goalkeeper and expert Paddy Kenny believes Everton should try again to sign Donny Van de Beek from Manchester United given their limited playing time.

Clear, Van de Beek hasn’t been treated quite the way he would have liked this season. In fact, due to his reluctance to play against him, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has only given the midfielder 60 minutes in the Premier League this season.

In fact, moving from Old Trafford makes a lot of sense in reviving Van de Beek’s career.

Kenny thinks Everton, interested in the summer, should try again to sign the Dutchman by Football insider.

“Well that makes sense doesn’t it?” he said.

“Van de Beek didn’t get a game and he is a young player who wants to play football.”

“If you get the chance to go to Everton, where you can get first-team football, why not?”

Indeed, Everton’s midfield has been hampered by injuries. Abdoulaye Doucoure started the season hot, scoring two goals in eight games and providing four assists. His injury, as well as that of Tom Davies, has hampered the Toffees’ midfield options.

Indeed, including a player of Van de Beek quality would help strengthen the team. In addition, because of his talent, he would certainly become a mainstay of the team.

However, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer no longer at the helm of Man Utd, Van de Beek may be given more playing time. A new manager who walks in may see him better.

Especially after his impressive goal performance in his 45-minute game against Watford at the weekend; a game in which he was one of United’s lights.
