Davies' agent blasts Bayern, Real Madrid on the horizon

Good news for Real Madrid. Alphonso Davies' agent has publicly blasted Bayern Munich in an interview with 'Bild'. The agent did not take kindly to the new Bavarian sporting director Max Eberl presenting him with an ultimatum when it is the club that should have offered guarantees a long time ago.

These words help to understand the deadlines that Bayern have put on the table for Alphonso Davies. The Allianz Arena board wants to be sure that the versatile defender will remain in his position well into April.

It coincides with the timetable that Europe's leading sporting managements have given themselves to start preparing their next squads.

"It’s unfair to receive an ultimatum from Bayern. We will decide how to proceed at the end of the season when there is more clarity. It's unfair that Alphonso is now being attacked. We were close to an agreement a year ago. Then the entire club management was replaced. We didn't hear anything for seven months," Nedal Huoseh said.

"Now we are being given an ultimatum and are supposed to react within two weeks because the club is under pressure and took a long time to reposition itself in the management? That's not fair," he continued.

Huoseh went on to add: "It’s a very important contract in Alphonso's career and we're supposed to make the decision without knowing who the coach will be next season or what the team looks like. That's why we think it's unfair to react to the ultimatum."

To put an even more dramatic spin on the whole affair from the Germans' point of view, journalist Christian Falk reported that a move to Real Madrid is becoming the most likely horizon.

The main difference between him and the Germans for him to stay is that they are offering him a salary of six million euros less
