Recent reports suggest that two of Europe’s biggest clubs have already started laying the groundwork for signing AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie.
This emerges from a recent report by the Italian outlet Calciomercato, which claims that the hardworking midfielder is wanted by the Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur and the French giant Paris-Saint Germain.
Kessie, 24, joined AC Milan in 2017, initially on loan from Atalanta, before making permanent two seasons later with a £ 21.6m deal.
Since arriving in Serie A, the Ivorian midfielder has played 185 games in all competitions, contributing directly to 45 goals.

With his contract now only running for 12 months and with no signs of renewal, concerns are growing that the 24-year-old may have to be sold in January in order for AC Milan to get something back for his services.
The latest in the ongoing saga comes from Calciomercato, who claim that both Paris-Saint Germain and Tottenham Hotspur have already started talks with the player’s camp, with the Londoners offering a salary of around £ 6.8million.
If AC Milan are serious about keeping one of the top rated defensive midfielders in Europe, it goes without saying that they will have to find a deal sooner rather than later.
