I have forgiven Jamie Carragher after personal apology from Liverpool legend

The partner of popular TV broadcaster Kate Abdo, Malik Scott, has admitted he has "no ill feelings" over Jamie Carragher after the Liverpool legend's controversial on-air remark in March regarding his girlfriend.

During CBS' coverage of the Champions League meeting between Arsenal and Porto at Emirates Stadium, Carragher was wearing an Arsenal shirt following a request to do so by Bukayo Saka and told Abdo and Thierry Henry they would be next to wear the shirt of the north London club.

Abdo responded to this claim by stating she is "loyal to Manchester United", to which Carragher joked "not to Malik". A moment of silence then followed with Henry, Abdo and Micah Richards seemingly unsure of what to say after this unexpected remark catching them off-guard.

Scott, a former heavyweight boxer, subsequently threatened to "show up in a physical manner" if the former Liverpool centre-back failed to pick up his call after his partner was left upset, though has made clear there is no bad blood between the pair after a recent meeting.

Making clear Carragher personally apologised to him, Scott told Casino Online IN: "Jamie had an off moment and said something he shouldn’t have said – how many times in life have we all done that?
