Chelsea are preparing a ‘monster’ offer for Juventus striker Federico Chiesa while coach Thomas Tuchel turns his attention to the January transfer window after booking his spot in the next round of the Champions League.

The 24-year-old Italian international has drawn the attention of top European clubs in recent years after putting in a series of impressive performances for Juventus and their national team. FC Bayern Munich has shown interest in the player who played in Italy’s triumph at the EM 2020 in the summer and formed the team for the tournament.

In addition to Bayern Munich, Chelsea have been linked repeatedly with Federico Chiesa. The 24-year-old striker has scored three goals and as many assists in 15 games in all formats this season, with Juventus finishing eighth in Serie A, although Max Allegri’s side are already in the round of 16.

Thomas Tuchel is an admirer of Chiesa and had the opportunity to watch him closely during Chelsea’s two group matches against Juventus this season. And it now appears that the reigning European champions are weighing a £ 84m move for the Italian.

Chelsea could discharge Christian Pulisic; Timo Werner associated with Barcelona

Chelsea coach Thomas Tuchel already has a number of attack options with Timo Werner, Mason Mount, Hakim Ziyech, Kai Havertz, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Christian Pulisic, who operate behind his center forward Romelu Lukaku. However, there are rumors that one or two are planning to leave Stamford Bridge immediately.

Christian Pulisic has asked to leave the club after getting tired of waiting for his chances. The American, who joined Chelsea in 2019 for a fee of £ 58million, has been hampered in his progress due to recurring injury issues. The striker has already missed a total of 14 games this season and when he is fit has not been preferred to Werner, Ziyech, Mount, Havertz and Hudson-Odoi von Tuchel.

Ahead of the January transfer window, Pulisics Entourage has asked the Chelsea board to approve a move with the US international, who has already received a number of offers.

Meanwhile, Barcelona are keen to sign Timo Werner and have identified him as a possible alternative to Manchester City star Raheem Sterling. Barcelona new coach Xavi Hernandez is scouring the market looking to loan out uncommitted players due to their financial troubles, with Werner being particularly attached to them lately.

Federico Chiesa could be a brilliant addition to the blues

Federico Chiesa is a fast, intelligent and agile striker who can play on the front lines anywhere. He is an excellent dribbler with the ball, has a knack for creating space and taking chances in promising positions in and around the penalty area. Thanks to his speed and dynamism, the Italian is a scourge for defenders on counterattacks.

The ex-Fiorentina man is also skilled at getting to the byline and delivering meaningful crosses into the penalty area. Tuchel would be well advised to get Chiesa on board, because he will definitely bring a lot of quality to Chelsea’s offensive with and without the ball. At 24, the Italian international has his prime still ahead of him, making him a brilliant long-term investment for Chelsea.
