Arminia Bielefeld has signed the 27-year-old right midfielder Alessandro Schöpf with a two-year contract until 2023.
After his contract with the relegated Schalke came to an end, the Austrian international moved to the Bundesliga for free.
“Alessandro is a player with a lot of Bundesliga experience. He gives our squad new opportunities and will help us immediately. We are happy that we were able to win him over. “ said Arminia Bielefeld’s sports director Samir Arabi.
Schöpf played 940 minutes of Bundesliga soccer for S04 last season.
