Juventus prodigy agent Nicolo Fagioli says his client will not be used as a makeweight in a deal to get him signed Sassuolo midfielder Manuel Locatelli, before claiming Arsenal had made a € 40million offer for the Euro 2020 winner.
The 23-year-old Locatelli was an outstanding player in Serie A last season and recorded the most keys (3,304), passes (2,749) and final thirds (446) of all players as well as the second most successful passes in the opposing half (305) and the second most tackles (81).
His form naturally meant that he was called up to Roberto Mancini Italy’s squad for Euro 2020, where he played in the groups and, in particular, scored a well-executed brace in the 3-0 win against Switzerland for the AzzurriPromotion to the knockout round.
Manuel Locatelli is the first #ITA Player who has scored 2+ goals in a single EM game in * this * game against Germany at the EM 2012 since Mario Balotelli.

Given its notoriety at both club and international levels, it’s no wonder Locatelli’s name is linked to numerous heavyweight clubs across the continent, two of which have been confirmed by the agent of another Italian midfielder.
Fagioli, 20, made his Serie A debut for in February The old woman and is highly regarded in Turin, but there has been speculation that Juve would be willing to swap it to sign Locatelli, an option vehemently denied by his agent.
Fagioli’s representative, Andrea D’Amico, said Sky Italia: “I think Massimiliano Allegri wants to see him [Fagioli] in training to understand if it can be useful during the season.
“When he played against SPAL and Crotone last season, he showed that he can be a protagonist of the future of Juventus.
“Juventus want to sign Locatelli and Arsenal have already offered 40 million euros.
“But I can assure you that Fagioli has not been included in the deal to date.”

“Official offer” submitted for Manuel Locatelli, says Sassuolo CEO
The latest developments come after Giovanni Carnevali, CEO of Sassuolo, announced that the Gunners had made an “official offer” earlier this month without disclosing the figure submitted.
“It is true that foreign clubs are interested, including Arsenal, and so far they are ahead,” said Carnevali.
“Arsenal have made an official offer for Locatelli. They’re pushing to sign Manuel and it’s an important offer. We will see. “
