Juventus“The winless start of the season continued when they fell on one” 2-1 defeat to Naples at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona in Series A on Saturday.
The Bianconeri took the lead early on when Alvaro Morata pounced on a mistake by Kostas Manolas to enter the race and score with a loft finish.
However, Napoli were in full control and equalized after an hour from Matteo Politano after Wojciech Szczesny distorted a shot before Kalidou Koulibaly scored the late winner.
Player ratings:
Szczesny 5; De Sciglio 6, Bonucci 6.5, Chiellini 6.5, Pellegrini 6 (’58 De Ligt 6); McKennie 5.5 (’73 Ramsey 6), Locatelli 7, Rabiot 5.5; Bernardeschi 6, Morata 7 (’82 Kean 5), Kulusevski 6.5

The striker had little to do as Juventus scrambled to contain Napoli, but he was vigilant enough to force Manolas into a costly mistake while his finish was cool and well received. However, he would have liked more options.
