It’s one of the most competitive Premier League games of the season as Liverpool head to Old Trafford for a duel with northwest rival Manchester United.
Jurgen Klopp’s daring side are in great shape and with another win at the Theater of Dreams they will overtake Manchester City and take second place just one point behind Chelsea.
United, on the other hand, stumbles through games, only wins in the last moments and is repeatedly questioned.
The Red Devils start the game in seventh place, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer having to outsmart a manager known for his tactical acumen.

The expectation would certainly have been that United would play their strongest team, but the Norwegian has decided to leave Paul Pogba on the bench.

What that means is a start for the much maligned midfield pair Scott McTominay and Fred, which has clearly angered United believers.
Hundreds of them took to social media to vent their anger.

I’m not sure why Pogba is sitting on the bench. He changed the game against Atlanta

Lmao Ole will never change, the sooner he’s gone the better

The best we saw against Atalanta was when Pogba showed up, but Ole is harder to give up on McFred than quitting cigarettes

My guy really dropped Pogba. What’s the point if you want him to sign another contract and not let him go if you want to play mcfred in your biggest game?
